It folded to within an inch in 2017. I owed $800,000, was emotionally and mentally drained, and staring down what seemed to be an end in near sight. I fought through it, though. I led, I learned, I sacrificed, and I grew. I kept this business alive—up until I sold it to someone for seven figures.

This experience shaped me more than any book or certification ever could.

I’ve coached for over 25 years. I’ve run and been successful in my own business enterprise. I’ve been on nonprofit boards, chaired at the regional level, and been picked to work at the national and international competition level with some of America’s best performing athletes.

None of it compares to what I do today, though.

Now, as I’ve learned to know—what I hold to be my very core—the most important wins we can tally come from those we have at home. I’m a husband and I’m a father first and foremost. It’s one aspect in life which defines everything I do.

I also coach business owners, executives, and leaders who happen to be in growth, transition, or reinvention. They come to me sometimes because something’s breaking. Other times they want something more. Either way, I help them re-align themselves to what matters, lead from courage and clarity, and move forward—meaningfully.

This isn’t work on the surface: it’s intimate, it’s strong, and it’s worthwhile.
